Pakistan on today included all rounders Shahid Afridi and Hammad Azam
in its ODI and T20 teams for the rest of this month’s series against
England in UAE.
Meanwhile, Azhar Ali has been rewarded for his outstanding batting in Pakistan’s test series sweep against England with a spot in the middle order of Pakistan’s the ODI team.
Ali has played only 1 ODI match against Ireland in 2011 but received
the selectors focus after scoring a career best 157 in Pakistan’s 71-run
3rd test win on yesterday. Opener Taufiq Umar will go back home after
the 3 Test series which Pakistan won 3-0.The first of four ODI matches
will be played in Abu Dhabi on Feb . 13. The ODIs will be followed by 3
T20 internationals. Misbah-ul Haq will lead in both the formats.
