Kangana Ranaut is relying on martial arts training to ensure that she doesn’t gain even miniscule weight in order to fit into her skin-tight outfit for her next movie based on a superhero.

The actress is also carefully viewing her diet plan to make sure nothing goes wrong. It’s learnt that for her role as the mutant in the flick, Kangana has to also train in fighting techinques for her action sequences.“She is learning a few tips of karate, judo and taekwondo,” says our source.

Apparently, Kangana had to shed about 5 kilos for her part to fit into her outfit. Obviously, the actress also has to put up with her fair share of bruises after performing her own stunts during the shoot. Our source says, “Since she’s training in fighting technique for her character, it’s natural for her to perform her own action scenes. Kangana knows that several bruises can’t be avoided.”

Housefull 2 collects Rs. 42 Crs in 3 Days

Housefull 2 is going Solid. The Great News is that people are liking Housefull 2 which is very good news for the movie. Housefull 2 has shown a Massive Jump on Sunday as it is a Holiday.

The initial day collections of the movie were Rs. 14 Crs. On Saturday, collections slipped slightly to Rs. 13 Crs. On Sunday, Housefull 2 netted a total of Rs. 15 Crs, taking its three-day total to Rs. 42 Crs.

In terms of box-office records, Housefull 2 has the 2nd best first day collections of 2012, after Agneepath (Rs. 25 Crs). Housefull 2 has shown a big population in cinemas on Sunday. Housefull 2 has shown massive growth across all centres, which shows that film is going to have a great collection on non-weekend days.The collections had shown a jump of 30-50 Percent all over on Saturday. Many shows are Housefull across all India.

Occupancy on average is close to 80-85%+ all India for Sunday.The film has got a good time as there’s no big film coming. Housefull 2 can be the main grosser even beating Agneepath in 2012.

Remarks about Sharif family do not suit President: Chaudhary Nisar

Opposition leader Chaudhry Nisar has mentioned that PML-N has played the part of democratic opposition during 4 years but Zardari’s remarks about Sharif family don’t suit a President. He was discussing with the journalists at the marriage ceremony of his nephewat Dhallian village.

The part of PML-N remained democratic on every issue either it’s independence of judiciary or increase in price of oil and GST.“Democracy doesn’t mean to topple a govt on gunpoint and beat your opponent with sticks. Coming on the streets wouldn’t resolve the issues ”, he added. Chaudhary Nisar says that every child of the country is criticising Prasident Zardari for his address, which he delivered at Lahore in which he used awful words against the top command of PML-N.

Chaudhary Nisar said that Zardari did nothing extraordinary during last 4 years. Whenever the country faced any hard time, he used to cover in the Presidency or run out of the country.When worst ever floods hit Pakistan, he went to Britain for an outing. When strike was conducted on Pakistan‘s area, he praised America.

Nano-Sim issues may delay Apple iPhone 5 launch

The next generation iPhone 5 from Apple is rumored to be unveiled in the month of June. However, there might be a postpone in the developing process. Because of a few issues, the ETSI, a commission in Europe that grants requirements in technology, has delayed a vote on implementing Apple’s latest “nano sim.” Moreover, Nokia might also cause a delay due to the nano sim design options they introduced.

At the close of last month, there’s a rumours that Apple would use a thinner design for a sim card which was referred ti as the nano sim for the soon to be launched iPhone 5. For this reason, further reduce the size of the current micro sim by approximately one-third and would give more room for battery parts. The first strategy of ETSI is to vote last March 29th. Sadly, it’s delayed.

As per Foss Patents, a technology blog, the delay was caused by the obvious reluctance of Nokia to license its possible vital patents in case the suggestion about the nano-SIM is authorized and the opposition of SanDisk to the proposition of Nokia. Nokia is currently hesitant to move on with the issue because of couple of reasons. 1st, it’s a market benefit. 2nd, Nokia argues there’s a more suitable design for the nano-SIM compared to that of Apple.

According to reports, Nokia said that they’d hold back their patents if Apple’s offer of the nano-SIM standard is authorized. Mark Durrant, spokesman of Nokia, says that the proposal of Apple doesn’t pass all the prerequisites for the nano-SIM. Without the permission of the suggested nano-SIM, it’s still unsure if Apple will or will not continue with its manufacturing of the iPhone 5 in time for a release on June.

Mushtaq Ahmed shortlisted but not finalised as bowling coach

Ex- leg-spinner Mushtaq Ahmed’s name has cropped up as one of the main candidates to be the bowling coach of the national side before the visit to Sri Lanka.

As per details, Mushtaq who until this week was working with the English team in Sri Lanka as their bowling coach has already held 2 meetings with the PCB Chairman Zaka Ashraf.

“Mushtaq Ahmed has met with Zaka Ashraf and talked about the chance of taking over as bowling coach and working along with Dav Whatmore,” one source said. Mushtaq who was a part of Pakistan’s 1992 World Cup winning team, has spent the recent years receiving coaching credentials and working as a professional coach in England.

“Many officials in the Board and some senior people in the Pakistan team are pleased with the experience Mushtaq has obtained while working in England and also as a bowling coach with the England squad in the last two three yrs,” the source said. Mushtaq Ahmed worked as a bowling coach for a short time with the Pakistan team 3 years back.

The source said it wasn’t certain whether Mustaq Ahmed had also applied for the bowling coach job to the PCB coaching panel which had advertised the post currently and given a March 23 timeline for serious candidates to send in their CVs.

Apple’s App Store reaches 25 billion download landmark

The App Store achieved the historic landmark of 25 billion App downloads early on Saturday, though Apple has yet to declare the winner of the $10,000 App Store gift card.

Apple changed the counter on its home-page to a thank you page early on today after it achieved the 25 billion number. The graphic shows the App Store icon surrounded by icons of well-known iOS applications, including Twitter, Yelp, Instagram, eBay and Fruit Ninja.

“A billion thanks. 25 occasions over. The App Store has achieved 25 billion downloads. Thanks for getting us there,” the page read. Users are instructed to return to the 25 billion application countdown page later to see who won the App Store present card. The countdown took just over 14 days from when Apple initiated it on Feb 17. At that occasion, the number of application downloads stood around 24.29 billion.

Apple organised a similar countdown to the 10 billionth App Store down load a year ago and achieved the landmark on January 22, 2011. The company has paid out over $4 billion to App Store designers and now carries around 600,000 apps in the digital storefront.
