Waqar Younis has requested the ICC to
reexamine the 5 year ban on Mohammad Amir. The ICC suspended Amir for 5
yrs for his participation in spot-fixing during the last Pakistan and
England series in August 2010.
A London court put him in jail for corrective sentence for 6 month
and he was released from the jail on good conduct. But the ICC 5 yr ban
