President
Zardari will nominate a fresh Prime Minister from
within the Pakistan People’s Party if Prime Minister Gilani is charged
by the Supreme Court and consequently disqualified from being a member
of National Assembly, it’s learnt.
As per sources, PPP Co-Chairman is thinking about the names of
Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar, his sister and confidante
Faryal Talpur and Makhdoom Shahabuddin to pick from one of them the
possible successor of Gilani in case he’s convicted by the Top Court.
The sources says that President Zardari
and key politicians of PPP have silently started conversations on a
blue print in case PM Gilani is convicted by the court in a contempt of
court case.
